The programming committee organizes events, coordinates volunteers, and manages the community’s online spaces. Every year, the community holds elections to fill roughly half of the committee seats.

In 2025, to better formalize its governance structure and independant operations, the IGDATC board voted to become the Programing Committee of Nice Games Alliance, an independant 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It continues to function as the chapter board for the purposes of its relationship to IGDA.
